A legendary group of walkers will be led by Tim Mannah as a tribute to his younger brother Johnny who died from Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2013. Team Johnny, will walk 35 kilometres from CommBank Stadium to Points Bet Stadium, raising awareness and funds for Lymphoma Australia to employ a national nurse to support young lymphoma patients.
Lymphoma is the NUMBER 1 cancer for the 15-29 age group and the THIRD most common in children
The walk will take place on the 17th of March and the final recognition for the walkers, sponsors and the lymphoma community will take place at Johnny Mannah Cup that will be played between the Eels and Sharks on the 19th of March at Points Bet Stadium.
Johnny’s passion to raise awareness and support for others with lymphoma will be achieved and celebrated as his legacy with this great event
